I got to try the just released Hololens 2 at the Unity Industry Summit in Sydney!

It feels like actual magic and has all the things I wanted that were missing from the first Hololens. It’s way more immersive and the field of view is way bigger and the interface is way more usable and intuitive. I got to try the mixed reality version of Skype and played around with some interactive holograms. It’s so clear that there are so many possibilities of how it could be used that haven’t even been thought of yet, which is rather exciting.
I don’t think I’ve been this excited and blown away about something techy since the first time I got on the internet in 1994. Thanks for letting me have a play, Lawrence Crumpton.
