With the standard LEGO® Serious Play® Certification you will learn all the core techniques for facilitating small groups in workplace settings with a focus on improving business outcomes, for example team building and strategy.
With the SUPERCONNECT® add-on included in this training, you will expand your toolkit so you can offer your clients short play-based sessions that foster engagement and human connection. This includes audience activation; transformative conference workshops that get everyone talking; interactive keynotes; speed networking that even introverts enjoy. Your Trainer
Dr. Kate Raynes-Goldie an award winning creator of SUPERCONNECT® who has been connecting humans through curiosity and play since 2007. Kate is also a Certified Facilitator of LEGO® Serious Play®, human connection designer and cultural anthropologist with a deep understanding of how to (re)create connections to ourselves, to each other and to meaning.
She has delivered her SUPERCONNECT® sessions to 1000+ participants to a wide variety clients, including large corporates, universities, government, membership organisations and non-profits. She is a TEDx speaker and has also delivered keynotes, workshops and engagement programs around the globe, including SXSW (in both hemispheres!) and NXNE in Toronto.
Kate is an innovation columnist with the Business News and teaches units on culture, connection and technology at the Murdoch School of Business and Governance. She has a PhD from Curtin University in anthropology and internet studies, where she is a past Adjunct Senior Research Fellow. Kate is also a Professional Member of Professional Speakers Australia (PSA) and is an accredited Mental Health First Aider.

LEGO® Serious Play® was originally developed by two European business professors and the LEGO® Group as a way of improving business outcomes, in particular around strategy and organisational development; team building; innovation and product development and change management. It was made available to the world under an opens source license in 2010 It has been used by global megabrands like IKEA, Virgin and Samsung.
LEGO® Serious Play® is an incredibly powerful tool on its own. But was not designed for larger groups with short periods of time, or with psychological safety or human connection as a focus. This is where the SUPERCONNECT® add-on comes in.
SUPERCONNECT® allows you to run play-based sessions of just an hour for groups of hundreds, which is perfect for large conferences or off sites focused on human connection, better conversations and mental wellness.

As LEGO® Serious Play® is now an open source method, The LEGO Group does not offer an official certification program in the method. Like all LEGO® Serious Play® trainings around the world, this one is not endorsed or sponsored by the LEGO Group. The LEGO Group does encourage people to get properly trained in the method (in programs like this one), but they do not endorse any particular providers. This is also why we offer SUPERCONNECT® Conversation Specialist Certification as an extra layer of credibility and authority for you and for your clients by setting you apart from other LEGO® Serious Play® facilitators.
